eeeeee…

So Macon D at stuff white people do gave me an E! award

And one of the rules of this fun thang is that you get to pass on the love.

I feel completely unqualified to bestow awards on so many of the blogs I read. That’s not humility, that’s the truth. Still, I’m going to name some of my favorites–and hopefully, some that don’t get as much attention as they deserve, kind of the way this was given to me.

1. Alterdestiny. Yeah, I just started blogging there, but this isn’t for me, it’s for them.

2. Uncool. Because she blogs T.S. Eliot and busts on “radical” (read: anti-porn, anti-sex) feminists, in brilliantly sarcastic and well-cited form.

3. Flight Papers. Honestly, I could give this to her just for design, but this post is reason enough as well. And there’s more where that came from.

4. Feminism Without Clothes. Because though some feminists won’t give her the time of day because she’s a nude model, she shows them care and concern that I wouldn’t even think they deserve.

5. The Mad Political Scientist. Because of this post.

6. Fetch Me My Axe. Because she’s one of the best out there at ripping the stupid a new one.

7. WOC PhD. If you need an explanation for this one, just go there already and read her.

8. Oh, you’re a FEMINIST?! Because of this.

9. Sexual Ambiguities. For best use of LOLCats and heartbreaking posts.

10. My Private Casbah. I just discovered her today, and I love her. And as a former New Orleanian, I need to support others from my beautiful lost city.

Go forth and read.

I’ve listed blogs I like in the recent past, including this great blog, but this is a good chance for one of our co-bloggers to post on this. I am going to start pressing them.

Thanks for the love. It’s much appreciated.

Now I have to go and see if Indiana is going to be an upset or not. It’s looking kind of interesting. That’s why I don’t believe that news organizations should call elections until at least 30 percent of the vote is in.

Again, I thank you.

Glad you decided to pay it forward, Sarah!

You have several places on your list that I haven’t seen yet, thanks, looking forward to checking them.

And yes, congrats on the Alterdestiny gig, most deserved,
